The sun....

One of the "products" that Lisa's friend will be selling is a sunblock... The whole fear of skin cancer is a hoax, just something else to push us to buy more crap...

I ask u, why is it that human beings are the only creature, living thing on this planet that is harmed by the sun... Plants grow, animals thrive, we hide...

Just like with all things, it is not the external thing that harms us, it is the state of our own health, our terrain... So rather than trying to find a safe sunblock, why not just spend that money, that energy making ourselves well, building our immune systems so that the lovely rays of the sun don't harm us, but instead bless us...

I agree that skin cancer, while not a hoax, is greatly misunderstood. Sunscreens and sunblocks are greatly overused, and chemical sunscreens are killing the reefs - and causing cancer themselves. People tend to be low in Vitamin D now because of lack of sun exposure (although not as much in the sunny paradise we live in).

I don't necessarily recommend sunblocks to prevent cancer - I recommend them to keep from burning and to keep the skin youthful. Not everybody's priority, but certainly the priority of many. I like to offer alternatives the chemical sunscreens since people are slathering that on and then it washes off into our beloved ocean. If nothing else, Linda shares the truth about chemical sunscreens which I know has stopped the sale of these poisons to many.
