I recently got a fascinating offer from the Open Center. The details are below.

We can get VIP seating (upfront) if we have more then 5 people register using the code: Holistic Paths - Joel Elfman.

In addition, we can get discounts for various speakers ranging from 15-20% if at least 5-10 members pay as a group. I have some concerns about organization and logistics for these events, plus a huge number of other commitments, so I have declined to do this personally.

If someone would like to coordinate collecting monies, names, handling refunds, organizing everyone interested in the various speakers, we can post to the message board, and put your name in the event announcements. Pick an individual event or more then one to organize.

The Open Center (www.opencenter.org) has a really amazing fall
season with well known presenters such as Deepak Chopra,
Marianne Williamson and Gary Zukav.

I work at the Open Center and we would like to extend a
discount to your Meetup group. In addition to a 15 or 20
percent discount we will also give you priority VIP seating
with registration. These programs are extremely popular and are
likely to sell out.

This is the way it all works:

Groups of 5 or more receive a 15 percent discount

Groups of 10 or more receive a 20 percent discount

Payment and the number of people in your party must be provided
when registering for the program. Names are not necessary
although helpful. You can call to register at [masked] ext
2.

The following events have capacities of 500-2000 people so you
will have the advantage of the discount, members in your group
will breeze through the lines since there will be a special
line for you AND you will have specific seating in the front!
