I thought this would be an interesting talk given our current environment. We always are interviewing or being interviewed, and often we are offering useful tools to our clients, so wouldn't it be nice to have a few extra tools in your tool belt.

Joel

PS - Please note, since this talk brings several Meetup Groups together the complete number of attendees is often greater than the RSVP total appearing for this single group.

Maintaining Marketability and Motivation in Today’s Job Market, Nov. 10th, 7-9PM, $7@web, $12@door

Do you find yourself worried about your job search? Are you frequently feeling negative and find yourself expressing beliefs? Are you experiencing difficulty staying focused and motivated? Are you feeling trapped by these beliefs, unable to take action and put your best foot forward when interviewing?

In today’s uncertain times searching for a job can be stressful. Staying motivated and marketable can be challenging. You may not enjoy job searching but if your attitude is positive you will be better able to cope with the process and bring confidence and energy to your search. Research has shown that people who are optimistic are more successful in life. It is your choice. Why not choose to be positive?

Join Renée Lee Rosenberg in this interactive presentation as she introduces you to ten strategies, (optimism is just one) based on the work of Norman Vincent Peale, for keeping you motivated, marketable and more focused in your job search and life. You will leave this presentation with ideas and suggestions for developing a successful, positive, strategic job search.
