Tickets- The Expo costs $10 per day. A free ticket was on page one of the March edition of Natural Awakenings magazine. I also have one buy one get one free ticket that I picked up at the Dogwood Festival. Bring any extra of these you can find and we can distribute them outside the meeting hall to those who need one. You can also buy a ticket from the website and you will get a free book. (Hint-They often give the freebies to everyone-paid or not.) I have unsuccessfully tried to get us group discount tickets, but it is worth the $10 if you must pay.

Transportation- We can use Meet Up to plan carpools if you would like. You can print off a $3 parking coupon for the yellow and blue lots from the website: http://www.aliveexpo.com
MARTA is also a good way to get there.

Lunch: There is usually a nice selection of raw and organic food for purchase, but they do run out. I will try to find something good and reserve us a table by 12:00. I'll put the Meet Up sign on the table.

Time: The Expo opens at 11:00 on Sunday. Anyone who likes can meet for lunch inside at 12:00. I am missing church for this one, but let me know if you need to come later. I can meet you outside later in the afternoon. We may have members who have extra free tickets we can share.

Why Sunday? This is the first year I will only attend one day. I have chosen Sunday because traffic is usually a little lighter and some larger vendors must distribute all samples before leaving. Last year, on Sunday, I didn't buy anything, but I left with a loaf of bread, two bottles of wine, a months supply of raw dog food, and a bag full of supplements!

What to bring: Wear good shoes...you will be walking! Cash-some vendors have great show specials. Bring a bag to carry all your goodies!

Cost: $10.00

DATE CHANGE! DATE CHANGE!!!

We have decided that Mondays seem so busy, we are going to try Tuesday. I hope that doesn't mess up your schedule too much if you already made plans to attend. We'll meet the following day to see if more of us can make it. Let's get together and decide what we are interested in doing with our group! Dinner on Tuesday at R. Thomas. They have all kinds of food. If you can't make it on time, come anyway! We'll be there a while! Bring any ideas you have and bring your calendars! We are working on ways to share our knowledge with each other. Bring yours!

Groups have contacted me to question if they may speak to our group, and I want to find out your opinions on this.
We'll plan on passing a cup around the table to gather a little money to keep posting our meetings, but we want to keep them open to everyone.

Also, would anyone be willing to host a holiday gathering? I will, but my home is waaaaayyyy west of Atlanta, and probably not convenient for any of our other members. I think a pot luck dinner in someone's home or office would be a great way for us to get together in December.

Standard Enzyme Company is holding its annual Alternative Healthcare Seminar this weekend, so I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to come with me! I go every year because the information is fascinating!

If you would like to attend for the whole weekend, I can get discounts. Dr. Tenpenny and Dr. Buttar are my favorites. She has written many books about the dangers of childhood immunizations and most recently The Bird Flu Hype. He is an expert in Autism, and was the first doctor to testify to congress the link to immunizations.
"Learn from some of the foremost leaders in the Alternative & Complimentary Healthcare field such as David Koons, Dr. Johnnie Strickland, Dr. Hyla Cass, Dr. Peter Bauth, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, Dr. Rashid Buttar, Dr. Rhett Bergeron and many more soon to be announced."

A three day pass is $99. Email me if you are interested in one or two days(I'll get a discount price based on the number in our group.)

Now, the free part of the weekend. Amazon John Easterling will be presenting on Sunday morning from 9:00-1:00. There is no charge for his presentation. He will tell the story of his experiences in the Amazon Rain forest, how it changed his life forever and inspired the formation of an ecologically conscious company. Learn the amazing story of the partnership with the indigenous people, preserving the Amazon Rainforest and discovering the latest breakthroughs in natural herbal nutrition. I have been told that the "Happy Hour Herb Bar" will be open.

Healthy and organic food options will be available at the ABC Center Café for both Breakfast and Lunch, so I would like to meet there for lunch after John's program. If you want to miss the morning presentation and just meet us for lunch at 1:00, that would be great!
