drumSTRONG? is a unique, multicultural, musical charity event showcasing the local and national resources available to address cancer concerns.

It's a gathering to rhythm.

We invite local and celebrity artists to play with all assembled; drumming non-stop for 24+ hours. ¡BEATing cancer!

The Guinness World Records organization has been informed that we will set the record for the planet's longest continuous rhythm drum?a?thon.

We promote cancer support, education and research. All proceeds are donated to local and national cancer initiatives.

We are also organizing a national network of percussionists to bring rhythm into children's hospitals for the unifying, healing and entertainment values.

drumSTRONG ?08 is May 3rd & 4th, 12:00 noon Sat. (non-stop) through Sun. 4:00, rain or SHINE!, Misty Meadows Farm, Weddington, NC (just 4 miles south of Charlotte on Providence Rd). Come and go as you please :: get sponsors for your per hour drumming!
