It just feels so good to feel good, yes? That is really what Mind/body meetup is all about. Many of us start in a not-too-good-feeling place but we just keep getting a little better and a little better. Sometimes we “fall off the wagon,” but the great thing is we serve to support each other to get back on and stay on. Those of us who attend are inspired by the tremendous variety of the Universe. We are all so unique, and what works for me will not necessarily work for anyone else. We keep the doors open for expansion and growth and are inspired to try new ways to feel good and get healthy. Each week we meditate together and breathe together, and that is never a bad thing! We love meeting new and interesting people.
These meetups are especially good for people who have a chronic condition or pain that has reached a certain plateau of improvement. You may want to feel better than you do right now, but do not have the motivation or inspiration to move beyond your current level of wellness.
Guest speakers come to present various topics which serve to engage the mind/body and begin a movement and a shift. As we meditate and hear about enriching mind/body practices, we can't help but feel relief. With the benefit of group we stay focused on the commitments we make to ourselves. The synergy of the group is like grace. It helps to inspire and motivate us. It feels like fun, rather than work. Regular participants attain a deep sense of well-being. We respect where you are, and welcome you in whatever shape you are.
