Qigong, Amma therapy, swimming, walking and yoga. I avoid rich foods, eat a lot of fresh produce, a little chicken, a fair amount of fish, drink alcohol only a little, and try to sleep well.
Energy practices, such as emotional freedome technique, and a lot of distraction.
Who wouldn't? I have osteoarthritis. I have to be very careful about the balance -- not overdoing a good thing, and listening to my own body, not what others recommend necessarily.
Dona Eden workshop, myriad classes (cardio salsa, yoga, qigong, Buddhist meditation) and recognizing how unhealthy eating and behavior makes me feel - - yucky. Also, working in community mental health and seeing so much suffering intertwined with unhealthy behaviors.
